Hospital - UVC Disinfection

UVC radiation is a growing industry where the radiation is used as a safe and efficient way to sterilize a surface or an instrument in e.g. hospitals, laboratories, that require a high standard of hygiene and sanitation with the use of UVC technology

Our UVC Indicator is one of the best ways to ensure an area has properly been disinfected. The indicator shows the amount of UVC radiation exposure in a specific spot, through a color change which occurs at a precise energy level.

Can be correlated with a log reduction of microbiology samples e.g. MRSA and C.diff. This is a unique feature which makes UVC dosimeter™ different from competitive products.

How Does it Work?

In Practice

The UVC dosimeter works in combination with UV disinfection lights used for cleaning in hospitals. In the video provided to us by UVD Robots, an example of the dosimeter stickers being used to check cleanliness can be seen. The UVD Robot is an infection prevention resource, thereby making healthcare environments safer and improving quality of care for hospitals.

Thank you to UVD Robots for letting us share their video!
