UVC Dosimeters featured in the 2022-2023 Validation and Auditing Technology Guide and Directory published by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC)

Stockholm, Sweden – November 2, 2022 – The Global Biorisk Advisory Council™ (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, recently released the 2022-2023 Validation and Auditing Technology Resource Guide and Directory to help educate industry professionals on current and new technologies to assess and monitor cleaning and disinfection performance. With the expanded use of UV-C disinfection systems in public facilities including hospitals, schools, hotels, restaurants, airports and more, Intellego Technologies was invited to contribute information on its UVC Dosimeters and the role that photochromic indicators play to ensure the safety, efficacy and efficiency of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation.

“The inclusion of UVC Dosimeters in the GBAC guide and directory is an important bellwether as facilities look to verify that their enhanced disinfection methods are achieving the desired results,” said Intellego Technologies CEO Claes Lindahl. “UV-C is proven to be a highly effective disinfection modality against all pathogens. But because it is an invisible technology, there is a vital need to regularly audit and assess its use with visible, easy-to-use, color-changing dosimeters.”

The Validation and Auditing Technology Resource Guide and Directory provides valuable information and tips for using UVC Dosimeters and other established environmental hygiene monitoring for surfaces including ATP testing, fluorescent marking, swab testing. UVC Dosimeters and the other products listed in the guide for Surface Monitoring Technologies have peer-reviewed research to back their claims which are cited in the reference section.
